When my Art Direction class was challenged with adapting a recent film into a graphic novel-esque marketing campaign, I realized that it would be a fun opportunity to combine the assignment with my desire to experiment with linocutting and printmaking techniques - The Witch's story and aesthetics fit perfectly with the printmaking method and I felt it would be a novel solution to the assignment.
